Indie Review: Chirality Nail Polish

Hey guys! Today I'm going to be reviewing an awesome Indie brand: Chirality Nail Polish
Chirality on facebook
Chirality's cigcartel store

I was drooling over these polishes for months...patiently waiting for Black Friday. When she announced she would have an even bigger sale if she got to 600 likes, I was all over that. So when she hit that mark and said her sale started at 12am est, I was even more excited because that was at 11pm cst! LOL so I had my order placed before 11:30!

I was SO delighted by the next day when I got an email saying it was shipped! Three days later they arrived in the mail...I almost cried when I opened my mailbox, yeah I know a little extreme. I took them out of the package and I saw this festive tape on bubble wrap! And when I unwrapped them they had the cutest little ribbons !!

From Left to Right; The Symbiote, Cu2+, Neptunus, Apollonia, Audrey III, Katydid

So the first thing I did was try to replicate those amazing Mani I saw that made my mind up to buy all these polishes.
It's from Thing I Love At this Moment and here the links to her Chirality Mani

Her's was better, I don't have long enough nails, but I LOVE these colors together.

Right now I am currently obsessed with drip manicures. They always turn out good no matter how you screw it up!

This is Apollonia with China Glaze I'm Not Lion drips.
Amazing Right!!
Well I thought how could I make this even better....DUH! Katydid with Symbiote drips!!

I'm sorry This is the better picture but Blogger keeps rotating it for some reason UGH!

So to sum it up. These polishes are awesome. The customer service is great, super fast shipping and she loves to see you mani's on her facebook page! These polishes are incredibly gorgeous for the price, $7 a bottle,  most holo colors start out at $10. Not only are these gorgeous, they dry super fast! To me that is definitely important, if you can dry by the time I get to my next hand without smudging best thing ever! You definitely don't need a top coat because they are shiny without it, but the top coat adds a nice shine and doesn't dull them at all.

Hope you enjoyed my review! Feel free to leave any comments or questions!

12 Days of Christmas Holly/Wreath

Holly/Wreath

I decided to do holly today since I already did a wreath for the green day, guess I should have read all the challenges lol

I started off with a nice Christmas glitter, China Glaze Twinkle Lights from holiday 2011. I actually just found the Christmas 3 pack from last year at a Marshalls. It came with Holly-day, Poinsettia and Twinkle Lights. Then I added some holly. I had to use my light box, for one it's WI and I probably won't see real sunlight until next March and two the ottlite doesn't seem to make the glitter shine like normal lights.

And also sorry my hands are funked up from being dry and I tried a new lotion which dried out my cuticles in 3 seconds flat. What kind of skin doesn't like lotion??? Yeah sensitive ginger skin....

Base: China Glaze Twinkle Lights
Green: China Glaze Running In Circles
Red: China Glaze Poinsettia

Close up of Twinkle Lights, It's a great Christmas glitter chucked full of gold, red and green glitter

Color Club Sunday

I choose this snowy day is WI to show you a few colors from the Color Club Starry Temptress Collection.
I will be showing you Otherwordly, Glitter Envy, and Wink Wink Twinkle.
I purchased Otherwordly first from head2toebeauty, then since I loved it so much I really wanted the green and purple to go along with it.  I love that website plus I cannot find Color Club in WI at all.
They are all bright colors with white glitter. I really like them, I hoped that the purple would be more purple but it's still a nice shade.

I used Out the Door Top Coat for the base and top coat...I found that if you leave it till morning they usually just peel off...

Otherwordly

I really love this color!
Glitter Envy

I am SO Glad I bought this color!

Wink, Wink, Twinkle

This makes it look more purple than it really is, I would consider this more of a pinkish color...

Thanks for reading! Please leave any comments of questions!

One Month Blogiversary/Liebster Award

Today is my one month blogiversary!!

I would like to thank all my followers, friends, and family.

Janet Vilar from Janet Planet Nails has awarded me the Liebster Award.
Melissa Matthews from Polish Gone Crazy has also awarded me the award.

It's an award for new blogs just to get to know you. You are to say 11 facts about yourself and answer the 11 questions they have asked you. Then you have to come up with 11 brand new questions and find 11 new blogs with less than 200 followers and nominate them. Seems like a fun little game to get to know people!

11 Facts about myself:
1. I love movies.
2. I hate haunted houses.
3. I am an electrical engineer.
4. My mom lives in Australia.
5. I love to obsessively read books, probably because my life is so boring LOL.
6. I wanted to be a vet growing up.
7. My favorite color is purple but it used to be blue.
8. I tired to adopt a kitty from the Humane Society with my dad when I was 15. They denied us because they thought I would abandon it when I went to college.
9. I've had my cat Franklin for 12 years, I got him when I was 16, and I've had my little kitty Miss Beans almost 2 years.
10. I never thought I would ever own more than 300 bottles of nail polish....

6. If you had to choose one polish as your most favorite, which one would it be ?
     - China Glaze Grape Pop
7. If you could create your own polish what would you use in it colors, glitters ?
-I wish I could bottle the water marble effect but I would settle for a stunning purple/blue/turquoise glitter
8. What is your least favorite/never use again brand?
-Elf from Target, maybe they changed the formula but I bought a gold glitter and it smelled insanely bad!
9. Do match you mani to your pedi ?
-No, I painted my toes twice last summer and left it on for weeks at a time.
10. What are you currently wearing on your nails?
-I am currently wearing my snowflake mani from yesterday because it was too cute to take off!
11. Did you make sure to come follow my blog?
     -Yes I did!

The Lazy 15! ... Inspired by Another Blog's Mani

Whoooo....last day of the Lazy 15!....
I really enjoyed the challenge and it challenged me to try new designs..
I kinda slacked a ton but I accomplished all of them!

So the last challenge is a nail art design Inspired by Another Blog's Mani

I chose this cool red/scribble mani from Nailside. Here is the link.
She also has a TON of more really awesome designs!
Gonna be honest her's is a lot better than mine. She also used a striper where I am not that talented yet so I used a dotting tool, pretty much my "go to" tool.

CVS Clearance Event

So there have been a lot of talk about the CVS clearance event lately. Apparently it happens twice a year. Who knew! Well I read it the other day and totally forgot, probably for the best, but then I saw a post today and went out.

So I managed to score 10 Milani polishes at $1.39 a piece! And to sweeten the deal I had an extra $3 extra care bucks from when I bought my Spoiled nail polish bucket!
Left to Right: Red Sparkle, Purple Gleam, Blue Flash (small glitter), Blue Flash (big glitter), Silver Dazzle
I'm not sure why both of these blues were named blue flash, one clearly has small glitter while the other has big glitter...
and at $1.40 I couldn't say no to either LOL

Left to Right: Hi-Res, Digital, Hi-Tech, HD, 3D
I went back and found some Revlon Top Speed on clearance...
Left to right: Cloudy, Royal, Grape, Espresso, Black Star
